Close to Costa Smeralda, Golfo Aranci is one of the main towns in the historic region of Gallura.
Called Figari in ancient times, the modern town dates back to the mid nineteenth century and still today remains loyal to its origins as a fishing village.
The coastline is made up of small bays and beaches of fine white sand.
One of the town’s interesting features is the old fishing hamlet, down by the sea on the outskirts of the town, with its colourful little houses and fishmongers’.

The shallowest waters of Golfo Aranci offer rich variety of sights and a great chance for divers to see marine fauna.
Olbia, Porto Rotondo and the entire Costa Smeralda can  be quickly reached by car.
Boat trips are available to a large number of places: the wonderful rocky promontory of Capo Figari with its sheer drop of 200 metres down into the sea, the island of Tavolara and all the well-known resorts on the Costa Smeralda.
